Title
Consider a resolution adopting the City of Keller Title VI Non-Discrimination Plan.
The City of Keller is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or otherwise subjected to discrimination under any City program, service, or activity on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, sex, or disability, as prohibited by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related nondiscrimination laws.
The City of Keller Title VI Non-Discrimination Plan establishes the policies, procedures, and practices used to ensure compliance with applicable federal nondiscrimination requirements. The plan serves as both an internal guide for City staff and an informational resource for residents, stakeholders, and the public. To maintain compliance and reflect operational or regulatory changes, the plan will be reviewed and updated at least once every three (3) years.
The City developed the Title VI Non-Discrimination Plan on May 19, 2026. On June 23, 2026, the City successfully completed a desk audit conducted by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to evaluate compliance with federal Title VI requirements. Following the review, the City received a Green Status Letter (Satisfactory), indicating that the City's Title VI program was found to be in compliance with applicable federal requirements.
Approval of the attached resolution will formally adopt the City of Keller Title VI Non-Discrimination Plan and document the City's continued commitment to equal access, nondiscrimination, and compliance with applicable federal and state requirements.
