Consider a resolution approving an update to the Keller Sports Park Operating Policies, for the Parks and Recreation Department, in the City of Keller, Tarrant County, Texas.
Background:
The Keller Sports Park Operating Policies were originally approved by Resolution No. 3390 on July 2, 2013, following recommendations from the Keller Sports Park Operating Task Force, which included representatives from the Parks and Recreation Board and various user groups.
On November 4, 2025, City Council approved updates to the Keller Sports Park Operating Policies by Resolution No. 4989 to maximize the use of the facility. Since adoption, staff has identified the need to make an additional update to the approved policies to further refine operational provisions and ensure clarity and effective implementation.
Financial Impact:
The City of Keller is anticipated to continue receiving additional revenue from resident and non-resident fees and field rentals. The proposed update does not negatively impact existing revenue projections.
