Body

Action Requested:

Consider a resolution approving a professional services agreement with Cobb Fendley for the Standard Construction Details Update Project in the amount of $89,200.00.

Background:

The City of Keller, like all cities, has standard construction details for all public infrastructure; streets and sidewalks, water and sanitary sewer lines and drainage structures.  These details are a part of every construction project contract and provide the contractor the information needed to construct the improvements per City standards.  In order to maintain best management practices and ensure sound public infrastructure, the City’s standard construction details must be updated periodically.  Most of these details were last updated in 2009.

City staff reviewed the statements of qualifications of firms submitted in April 2019 as part of the general request for qualifications for professional services and determined Cobb Fendley was the most qualified for this project.

Financial Impact:

Funding is available in the Fiscal Year 2019-20 General Fund.
