Consider a resolution approving an agreement with Granicus, Inc. for legislative and agenda management and video recording software, for the Information Technology Department; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents related thereto on behalf of the City of Keller, Texas.
Action Requested:
Consider approval of a three-year agreement with Granicus, Inc. for legislative and agenda management and video recording software in an amount not to exceed $206,000.
Background:
The City first contracted with Granicus for meeting management and video recording services in 2008. In 2017, the City began using the company’s agenda management system (Legistar) and boards and commissions application. In 2022, the City added GovQA open records request portal services. A detailed description of each software and service provided in the contract is included in the agenda packet.
Financial Impact:
Annual fees for the three-year term are as follows:
FY 2025-26 $66,442.23
FY 2026-27 $68,435.50
FY 2027-28 $70,488.56
TOTAL $205,366.29
Funding for all Granicus software and services is budgeted in the Information Technology Fund and Public Education and Government Cable Franchise Fee Fund.
