Approve an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Fort Worth for the Keller Hicks Road Improvements Project; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all contract documents.

Background:

The Keller Hicks Road Improvements Project is a joint project with the City of Fort Worth. The limits of the project are from Lauren Way in Fort Worth to just east of the railroad in Keller. City staff has been working with Fort Worth over the last several years on the design, right of way acquisition, permitting and utility relocation for the project.  The City of Fort Worth is the lead agency and has bid the project.  They will also manage and inspect the project. Construction is scheduled to start after the holiday season. The proposed interlocal agreement will document each city’s responsibilities and associated costs.
