Background:                                

The current terms of service for the five elected directors of the Tarrant Appraisal District expire December 31, 2024.  There are fourteen (14) nominees for the five positions.  Those selected will begin a two-year term effective January 1, 2025.  Based on taxable values, the City of Keller is entitled to cast 22 votes either collectively or separately for the nominees.  Votes are due no later than December 16, 2024. 

 

Action Requested:                     

City Council consideration to cast 22 ballots for a nominee(s) to the Board of Directors of the Tarrant Appraisal District for a two-year term effective January 1, 2025.
