Consider a resolution approving the bid from CGC General Contractors, Inc., of Haltom City, Texas, for the Town Hall Restroom Renovation Project Phase II, for the Facilities Department; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all contract documents relating thereto on behalf of the City of Keller, Texas.
Action Requested:
Consider a resolution approving the bid from CGC General Contractors, Inc., for the Town Hall Restroom Renovation Project Phase II, in the total amount of $161,375.00.
Background:
The restrooms on the east side of Town Hall have been in service since the building opened in 2002. After more than twenty years of use, they are in need of upgrades and improvements.
Four (4) complete bids for construction were received on December 17, 2025, with CGC General Contractors, Inc., of Haltom City submitting the second lowest qualified bid. CGC General Contractors, Inc. performed the Keller Town Hall Restroom Renovation Project Phase I in 2023 and staff was very satisfied with their performance. They also have the most experience with similar work for other entities and their references highly recommended them and would utilize them again in the future.
Financial Impact:
The project is included in the FY2025-26 Facility Replacement Fund with funding provided by the General Fund.
Legal Review:
The City Attorney has reviewed the attached proposal.
