Background:

Following an Request for Proposals process earlier this year, along with staff assessments of several vendors and discussions by a City Council subcommittee, city staff is recommending a contract with GOGov, Inc., to develop and customize a mobile app for the City of Keller. The City Council received a demonstration of the proposed software’s capabilities during their August 6 work session. The contract with GOGov will be for an initial three-year period, with the option to extend for two additional one-year terms. This agreement will deliver a fully integrated citizen reporting solution and information portal.

Financial Impact:

The financial impact of this agreement with GOGov, Inc. involves an annual expenditure of $31,380, resulting in a total cost of $94,140 over the initial three-year period. If the City opts to extend the contract for the additional two one-year terms, the total cost over five years will be $156,900.
