Title
Consider a resolution approving a payment to TDIndustries, Inc., of Dallas, Texas, through the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing Program; for the emergency replacement of a sewer line and grease trap interceptor for Fire Station # 2, for the Facilities Department; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents relating thereto on behalf of the City of Keller, Texas.
Action Requested:
Approve a payment to TDIndustries, Inc. of Dallas, Texas; for the emergency replacement of a sewer line and grease trap interceptor for Fire Station # 2, in the amount of $103,230.00.
Background:
The grease trap in Fire Station # 2 stopped working, and after a thorough inspection, it was determined that not only did the grease trap fail and need to be replaced, but the sanitary sewer line has also eroded and needs to be replaced. Staff received three quotes for repairs, with the lowest quote from TDIndustries Inc., a BuyBoard vendor, in the amount of $103,230.00.
Due to the necessity to have an operational grease trap and sewer line in the facility, staff issued a PO to begin the work on July 22, 2025.
Financial Impact:
Funds for this activity are being allocated from the Facility Replacement Fund with funding provided by the General Fund. A budget amendment will be required for the repair.
