Action Requested:                     

Consider a resolution approving an Agreement with Neel-Schaffer, Inc., of Arlington, Texas; for providing the design of the Fiscal Year 2021-22 Parking Lot Improvement Project in the amount of $89,800.00.

 

 

Background:                     

To continue to provide exceptional amenities to the citizens of Keller, staff was directed to coordinate a parking lot improvement project for Parking Lot “H” at the Keller Sports Park.

The engineering firm of Neel-Schaffer, Inc., has previously performed the Parking Lot Improvement engineering for the Fiscal Years 2019-20 and 2020-21 Parking Lot Improvement Projects at the Keller Sports Park and Bear Creek Park.

 

Financial Impact:

The project is included in the Parks System Capital Improvement Program Fund with funding provided by the Keller Development Corporation fund.

 

Citizen Input/Board Review:                     

The project was presented to, and unanimously approved by, the Keller Development Corporation.

 

Legal Review:                       

The City Attorney has reviewed and approved the proposed resolution.

 

Alternatives:                     

City Council has the following alternatives:
