Action Requested:                     

Consider a resolution approving the bid from CGC General Contractors, Inc., for the Town Hall Restroom Renovation Project, in the total amount of $97,400.00.

 

Background:                     

The restrooms on the west side of Town Hall have been in service since the building opened in 2002. After more than twenty years of use, they are in need of upgrades and improvements. 

Three (3) bids for construction were received on October 30, 2023, with CGC General Contractors, Inc., of Haltom City submitting the lowest qualified bid. CGC General Contractors, Inc. has performed similar work for other entities and their references highly recommended them and would utilize them again in the future.

 

Financial Impact:

The project is included in the FY2023-24 Facility Replacement Fund with funding provided by the General Fund.

 

Legal Review:                       

The City Attorney has reviewed the attached proposal.
