Action Requested:                     

Reject all bids for the US 377 Landscape Enhancements Green Ribbon Project received on July 28, 2022 and rebid the project.

Background:                     

On July 3rd, 2022, the City of Keller Parks and Recreation Department advertised for bid the 377 Landscape Enhancements Green Ribbon Project. On July 28th, 2022, city staff received three (3) responses to the advertisement; however, the lowest bid was deemed non-responsive for failure to complete the bid in full, and the lowest responsive bid exceeded the engineer’s estimate by 94%. As a result, City staff and TxDOT recommend that the City Council reject all proposals and rebid the project.
