Action Requested:

Consider a resolution approving the bid from Green World Care, Inc., for contractual services relating to Grounds Management Services for the Keller Sports Park, in an amount of $403,380.00 for three years.

Background:

The Grounds Management Services for the Keller Sports Park includes maintenance for all common, non-playing field areas within the Keller Sports Park, including the new extensive landscaping and irrigated turf areas.

A request for sealed bids for said services was advertised in accordance with State law.  The term of the bid is one (1) twelve-month period beginning April 7, 2026, with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting was also advertised and conducted on March 19, 2026.  Six (6) vendors attended the pre-bid meeting.

Five (5) bids were received and read aloud in accordance with State law on March 31, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.  Two bids were rejected for failure to include the required bid bonds. The second lowest qualified bid was submitted from Green World Care, Inc., in the total amount of $134,460.00 for each twelve-month period, totaling $403,380.00 for the three-year period.

Financial Impact:

Partial funding is available in the FY 2025-26 Parks and Recreation General Fund budget. A budget amendment will be needed to provide the rest of the needed funding.
