Action Requested:                     

Consider a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a professional services agreement with Brinkley Sargent Wiginton Architects, Inc. for the design and contract administration of the Town Hall Restroom Renovation Project Phase II in the amount of $56,755.00.

 

Background:                     

The restrooms on the east side of Town Hall have been in service since the building opened in 2002. These include the two single restrooms in the Pre-Council conference room, the bank of employee restrooms on the first and second floor of the east side of the building, and the restroom in the City Manager's office. After more than twenty years of use, they need upgrades and improvements.

Staff has obtained a proposal for engineering design services and construction administration from Brinkley Sargent Wiginton Architects, Inc. BSW designed and oversaw the construction administration of the Town Hall west side restrooms.

 

Financial Impact:

The project is included in the FY2024-25 Facility Replacement Fund with funding provided by the General Fund.

 

Legal Review:                       

The City Attorney has reviewed the proposed agreement.
