Background:                                

The current terms of service for the two elected directors of the Tarrant Appraisal District expire December 31, 2025.  There are four (4) nominees for the two positions.  Those selected will begin a four-year term effective January 1, 2026.  Based on taxable values, the City of Keller is entitled to cast 9 votes either collectively or separately for the nominees.  Votes are due no later than December 15, 2025. 

 

Action Requested:                     

City Council consideration to cast 9 ballots for a nominee(s) to the Board of Directors of the Tarrant Appraisal District for a four-year term effective January 1, 2026.
