Consider a resolution approving the purchase of five (5) LIFEPAK 15 V4 heart monitors, related accessories, ProCare service agreement, and data solutions for the Keller Fire Department from Stryker Sales, LLC, of Portage, Michigan, through the Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing Program, in the total amount of $259,151.46.

 

Background:                     

The proposed purchase includes five (5) LIFEPAK 15 V4 heart monitors, associated carrying accessories, batteries, reusable sensors, cellular modem connectivity, and a two-year ProCare service agreement. The purchase also includes a trade-in credit for five existing LIFEPAK units.

The upgraded monitors will enhance patient care capabilities, improve reliability in emergency response operations, and provide the Fire Department with updated equipment expected to have a service life exceeding ten years.

 

Financial Impact:

The total purchase cost is $259,151.46, which includes equipment, accessories, service agreement, data solutions, and shipping and handling. The pricing includes a trade-in credit of $10,000 for existing units. Funding for this purchase is available within the approved Fiscal Year 2025-26 budget.
