Background:                     

At the July 6, 2021 work session City Council discussed starting a mentoring program for local youth that would provide an opportunity for city leadership and staff to support young people in the community. First steps in launching the program will include identifying and coordinating with potential partners, including Keller I.S.D., and drafting an internal city staff policy on eligibility and time commitments during the city’s normal business hours.
