Title
Consider a resolution approving a professional services agreement with Front Line Mobile Health, of Georgetown, Texas, for the purpose of providing annual physicals to fire and police department personnel, physicals and psychological evaluations to new hires, and a fit-for-duty program for a one (1) year period with four (4) additional one (1) year renewal periods, not to exceed five (5) years; and authorizing the City manager to execute all documents related thereto on behalf of the City of Keller, Texas.
Action Requested:
Approve an agreement with Front Line Mobile Health to provide annual physicals to fire and police department personnel, physical and psychological evaluations to new hires, and a fit-for-duty program for one year with four additional renewal options for a total for five years.
Background:
On November 15, 2022, City Council approved an agreement with Frontline to provide services for the fire department. Staff respectfully requests an amendment to the agreement to include police department personnel. It is our desire to continue to have a "One-Stop-Shop" for all our Annual Physicals, New Hires, and Return to Duty physical examinations and to have a quality health and wellness program that will allow our fire and police personnel to have a long and healthy career.
Financial Impact:
A healthy workforce can provide a higher level of service to our community and produce lower healthcare cost due to decreased sick leave and workers compensation claims. Based on historical recruitment and participation data we expect an annual cost of about $75,000.
