Title

Consider a resolution approving Contract Amendment # 8 to an Agreement for Design Services and Contract Administration with Parkhill, of Arlington, Texas, for design services related to the increased scope of the Keller Sports Park Renovation Project for the Parks and Recreation Department; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents relating thereto on behalf of the City of Keller, Texas.

Body

Action Requested:

Consider a resolution approving Contract Amendment # 8 to an Agreement for Design Services and Contract Administration with Parkhill, of Arlington, Texas in the total amount of $91,226.00.

Background:

The city entered into a professional services agreement with Parkhill on March 22, 2022 for the construction document, bidding and construction administration phase services for the Keller Sports Park Renovation Project, which is currently under construction.

Staff was instructed to obtain costs for an additional six-stall restroom near the Legacy Field.

Contract Amendment # 8 to Parkhill's original agreement will adjust the design costs proportionately to the updated budget and scope. The additional design cost of $91,226.00 will bring the total design cost to $3,092,778.00, or 7% of the projected cost of the project.

Financial Impact:

Funding in the amount of $91,226.00 shall be paid from the Parks Capital Improvement Project Fund with funding provided by the Keller Development Corporation Fund. A budget amendment to the FY2025/26 Budget will be required.
