Consider a resolution of the City Council for the City of Keller, Texas, calling for a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, to consider amendments to the City of Keller Land Use Assumptions, Capital Improvements Plan, and Impact Fees.
Action Requested:
Begin the required 30-day public comment period and announce the scheduling of a public hearing regarding amendments to the City of Keller Land Use Assumptions, Capital Improvements Plan, and Impact Fees for September 6th, 2022.
Background:
Chapter 395 of the Local Government Code requires that the governing body of the City hold a public hearing on impact fee assessments not less than thirty (30) days prior to adoption of new impact fees.
On May 24, 2022, the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee (CIAC) Committee Members met to consider updated Land Use Assumptions, Captial Improvements Plan, and Impact Fee Assessments and unanimously recommended approval as presented.
Citizen Input/Board Review:
At their Regular Meeting held on May 24, 2022, the CIAC Committee Members unanimously approved the proposed Land Use Assumptions, Captial Improvements Plan, and Impact Fee Assessments as presented.
