Background:                     

Staff is requesting City Council approval to proceed with the purchase of Lion Apparel turnout gear from North American Fire Equipment Company (NAFECO). This gear will replace aging firefighter protective equipment and is essential for firefighter safety and compliance.

 

Financial Impact:

The total purchase amount is $51,246.64 and is split between two quotes from NAFECO, both of which are attached for reference.

Funds for this purchase have been budgeted and allocated in the approved FY 2024-25 Fire Department budget.
