Action Requested:                     

City Council consideration of an agreement with Dunkin Sims Stoffels, Inc., to provide design services relating to the Bear Creek Park Parking Lot Additions in the amount of $95,235.00, and authorizing the City Manager to execute all contract documents relating thereto.

 

 

Background:                     

At the December 6, 2022 City Council Meeting, City Council directed staff to obtain preliminary budget costs and concepts for additional parking lots in Bear Creek Park to coincide with the possible addition of four lighted pickleball courts and related amenities.

 

Financial Impact:

Funding in the amount of $95,235.00 shall be paid from the Parks Capital Improvement Project Fund and a budget amendment will be required during FY 2022-23 to transfer funds from the Keller Development Corporation Fund for the project.

 

Citizen Input/Board Review:                     

City Council requested that staff obtain plans and preliminary construction costs for additional parking lots for Bear Creek Park at their December 6, 2022 City Council Meeting. 

 

Legal Review:                       

The proposed agreement has been reviewed by the City Attorney.
