Action Requested:                     

Approve a resolution rejecting all proposals for the construction of the Pate Orr Sidewalk Project received on July 26, 2023, and authorizing the City Manager to re-advertise the project.

Background:                     

On July 26, 2023, the City of Keller Public Works Department received five (5) bids for the Pate Orr Sidewalk Project. The estimated budget for this project was $600,000. However, the lowest total bid amount of $955,274 is well beyond the estimate and project budget. As a result, City staff recommends that the City Council reject all proposals. A bid summary has been included for reference.
