Background:

On November 20, 2023, the City Council approved Resolution No. 4725, by a vote of 6-1, to approve the purchase of Flock Safety Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) system along with the associated supporting infrastructure from Flock Group, Inc. This no-cost Multiple-Use Agreement will allow for Flock Safety to complete installation of the cameras in the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) right-of-way.
