Action Requested:                     

Consider a resolution renewing the agreement with Apex Concrete Construction, Inc. via the interlocal agreement with North Richland Hills for contracted Miscellaneous Concrete Improvements for fiscal year 2018.

Background:                     

The City of Keller, by utilizing an Interlocal Agreement with the City of North Richland Hills (Resolution 2316, July 19, 2005) for cooperative purchasing of various goods, materials, equipment and supplies, is requesting the use of an approved miscellaneous concrete contract through the City of North Richland Hills.

The City of North Richland Hills has entered into an annually renewable contract with Apex Concrete Construction, Inc. of Keller, Texas, for Miscellaneous Concrete Improvements, which will be utilized on an as needed basis in fiscal year 2018. This contract is currently in its first renewal and is anticipated to be renewed again once the current contract expires in January 2018. This contract allows for use on concrete repair and construction activities.
                                          

Budget Impact:                     

Funding is available in the Public Works Street Maintenance Division and CIP fiscal year 2018 operating budgets in an amount not to exceed $240,000, for the purchase of Miscellaneous Concrete Improvements.
