Consider a resolution approving the bid for Janitorial Services, for The Keller Pointe Recreation and Aquatic Center, from North Central Texas Janitorial of Keller, Texas; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all purchase documents relating thereto on behalf of the City of Keller, Texas.
Action Requested:
Consider a resolution approving the bid from North Central Texas Janitorial of Keller, Texas for janitorial services at The Keller Pointe in the total amount of $159,124 for a one (1) year period with the option of three (3) additional one-year renewals.
Background:
A Request for Proposals was advertised in accordance with state law for Janitorial Services at The Keller Pointe. Add alternates were also included consisting of window cleaning and gymnasium floor resurfacing.
Nine (9) proposals were received and read aloud in accordance with State Law on February 6, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. The proposal that best meets all of The Keller Pointe’s needs is from North Central Texas Janitorial of Keller, Texas.
North Central Texas Janitorial is a local business with references that included RECARO Aircraft Seating Americas, Inc., the Town of Westlake, Milestone Church, and The State of Texas. All four (4) references were very positive and spoke highly of the company and their services.
Financial Impact:
The FY 2018-19 Keller Pointe Budget includes funds for janitorial services.
