Subject: Briefing regarding City Council action on Tuesday, April 2, 2019
1. Consider an ordinance for a Specific Use Permit (SUP) for Brett Vance Insurance, a proposed ‘professional office’ use, to include all associated business with insurance, located at 234 South Main Street (US377).
City Council approved by a vote of 6-0.
2. Consider a resolution approving a Site Plan with a variance for the Keller Smithfield Activity Node Park site plan to add 30 parking spaces within a 69.063-acre tract of land located at 1100 Bear Creek Pkwy.
City Council approved by a vote of 6-0 with the additional conditions:
1. The variance to waive the landscaping requirements for the two trees required for the parking islands to avoid line-of-site traffic concerns as shown in “Exhibit A” shall be allowed.
2. The City of Keller shall plant two trees in the Keller Smithfield Activity Node Park in lieu of the parking islands.
