Background:

On August 5, 1997, City Council approved an amendment to the comprehensive zoning map to change the zoning from Neighborhood Services (NS) and Single-Family - 8,400 square foot lots (SF-8.4) to Planned Development - Neighborhood Services (PD-NS) that consists of 16.3659-acre tract of land for Highland Oaks Plaza by Ordinance number 868.
