Title

Consider a resolution approving an Interlocal Agreement to provide Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping services for the City of Roanoke, Texas; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents related thereto on behalf of the City of Keller, Texas.

Body

Background:

The City of Roanoke is requesting that the City of Keller’s Information Technology (IT) department be allowed to provide GIS services for their city. The City of Roanoke does not currently have any dedicated GIS personnel to fulfill their immediate needs. City staff believes that Roanoke’s GIS needs can be met by Keller’s GIS department without any unnecessary or unreasonable burden or change in level of service to the City of Keller.

Financial Impact:

As stated in the Interlocal Agreement (Exhibit “A”), the City of Roanoke will pay the City of Keller $65 per hour during normal working hours and $75 per hour during non-normal working hours, not to exceed 120 hours. The contract will expire 365 days after the execution of the Interlocal Agreement.
