Background:

The City’s Capital Improvements Program (CIP) contains an annual project to maintain the residential street system through actions that range from simple surface treatments and localized repairs to full reconstruction.  The annual program is funded by a ¼ cent sales and use tax.

On Tuesday, April 30th, city staff received 65 statements of qualifications from engineering firms in response to the city’s general Request for Qualifications (RFQ). After extensive review of each relevant RFQ, city staff determined that Wade Trim was the most qualified.  Staff then negotiated a proposal for design and construction services. The streets selected are shown on the attached map.
