Action Requested:
Consider a resolution approving the purchase of miscellaneous concrete construction and repair services from Apex Concrete Construction, Inc. of Keller, Texas, in an amount not to exceed $70,000 through the interlocal agreement with North Richland Hills.
Background:
The City of Keller entered into an Interlocal Agreement with the City of North Richland Hills on July 19, 2005 (Resolution 2316) for cooperative purchasing of various goods, materials, equipment and supplies.
The City of North Richland Hills has entered into an annually renewable contract with Apex Concrete Construction, Inc. of Keller, Texas, for miscellaneous concrete construction and repair services. City staff has reviewed and determined that the bid and its current renewal from Apex Concrete Construction of Keller, Texas for the City of North Richland Hills provides for the lowest and most responsible unit prices for such services and recommends the purchase of miscellaneous concrete construction and repair services in an amount not to exceed $70,000 on an as needed basis during the 2019-20 fiscal year.
Financial Impact:
The funding for this project is contingent upon approval of the Fiscal Year 2019-20 Public Works - Street Maintenance budget as proposed. The project will be funded from the General Fund - Public Works Department Fiscal Year 2019-20 budget.
