Background:
The “bridge” playground at Bear Creek Park was installed in its current location in 2007. Prior to this, it served as the playground for the Keller Smithfield Activity Node, where it was originally installed in the mid to late 1990s.

Staff applied for Matching Grant Funds with the playground manufacturer GameTime, and we have been awarded a grant in the amount of $27,698.64 towards the purchase and installation of a new playground.
Financial Impact:
The replacement playground structure, in the amount of $180,000.00 shall be paid from the Parks Capital Improvement Project Fund with funding from the adopted FY 2019-20 Keller Development Corporation Budget.
