Action Requested:                     

Consider a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement with Comm-Fit for the purchase and installation of fitness equipment for the Keller Police Department in the total amount of $83,769.87.

 

Background:                     

On March 21, 2023, the City Council approved Resolution No. 4635 authorizing a Construction Manager at Risk Service Agreement with AUI Partners, LLC as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the Keller Police Department Renovation project. Once the design and specifications for the construction were complete, the City Council approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) on February 20, 2024, by Resolution No. 4761, in the amount of $3,963,568.

 

Financial Impact:

The proposed fitness equipment is included with the overall scope of the Keller Police Department Renovation Project, and was approved in the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Crime Control and Prevention District Budget
