Consider a resolution approving a Chapter 380 Economic Development Program Agreement, pursuant to Chapter 380 of the Texas Local Government code, and pursuant to the City’s Economic Development Policy, with Edward and Donna Kirkwood of Kirkwood Investments, LLC, owner of property located at 110 Lamar Street, Keller, Texas, for a City of Keller Façade Improvement Matching Grant.
Action Requested:
Consider a resolution approving a Chapter 380 Economic Development Program Agreement, for a City of Keller Façade Improvement Matching Grant, in the amount of $5,000.
Background:
Edward and Donna Kirkwood of Kirkwood Investments, LLC are requesting a $5,000 façade improvement matching grant for improvements to the property located at 110 Lamar Street. The total estimated cost of all facade improvements is $24,634.
Façade Improvements for Reimbursement include adding stone and tile to the exterior and adding on a patio.
Financial Impact:
The remaining program budget for the FY 2018-19 is $27,957.50. If all façade improvement matching grant requests on this agenda are approved, the remaining budget would be $8,807.50.
Citizen Input/Board Review:
The Keller Economic Development Board voted 7-0 to recommend approval at the July 15, 2019 meeting.
Legal Review:
The City Attorney’s Office has reviewed the proposed Chapter 380 Agreement.
